Soz, I burst out into full Freddy Mercury mode there But it relates to this post quite nicely Because to break free from dieting, you'll have to unlearn ideas promoted by diet culture.
Diet culture tells us it's the carbs, sugar, time they eat, type of rice, fatty liver, need to detox, blood/gene type, spot reduction, hacks, slow metabolism, oh and lets not forget that old chestnut >> starvation mode
These are the lies you need to break free from ^^^
They know it's what you want to hear so you end up buying their plan hoping that in only 90 days (and minimal) effort, everything will be fixed
But it never does because you don't want to hear you're eating a bit too much and you need to. move a bit more
Growth requires you to unlearn the BS in your head, practice new skills that inn time (however long it takes)
Will help you build habits towards the healthier lifestyle you seek.
You need to get out of the mindset that there is a shortcut to fat loss.
**NEWSFLASH** There isn't a shortcut you can take.
So before you jump on the next 'diet of the month' club, consider the following.
Maybe it's time to stop thinking about diets and more like lifestyle commitment.
